Tamegroute is a small village in South Morocco, on the edge of Sahara. Grown assembling the merchants and craftsmen from Fes, a city that enjoyed good relations with Tamegroute at the time, it's now a small village where the unique green pottery is created.
Glazing: Manganese, Silicon and Copper, in precise proportions. The characteristic green is the result of the combination of the particular clay used with the copper.
Each piece is unique. It may have scratches, marks, colour variations due to the handcrafted nature. The images are guide only.
